Sedrick Bolton III

Sedrick Bolton III joined the Iowa’s News Now team in August 2023 as a Multimedia Journalist. Sedrick was born in raised in Atlanta, Georgia and attended college at Valdosta State University and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Mass media with a Sports Broadcasting Certificate.

While in Valdosta, Sedrick started as an MMJ for VSU-TV and served as a sports reporter for Valdosta State’s sports program “Blazer Sports Report”. Along with being a reporter, Sedrick interned for ITG Next as a videographer, editor, and broadcaster. This led him to being a technical director for ITG Next’s sports show “Extra Point With Phil Jones”.

Prior to arriving in Cedar Rapids, Sedrick worked as a Sports MMJ for his self-operated sports media platform “TriWriter”. He was recognized by the Clayton County Public Schools District for his work with TriWriter.
