Curtis Feder joined the Iowa’s News Now team in January 2023 as a Sports Anchor. He is from Loveland, Ohio and is excited to share his love and enthusiasm for sports with the viewers of eastern Iowa.
Curtis graduated cum laude from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University with a degree in journalism and a minor in sports management. While in college, he was nominated for a student Ohio Valley Emmy Award for Best News Report or Sports Feature while working for WOUB Public Media. In addition, he worked as a production assistant at ESPN 3 and the Tennis Channel, and interned at WMBF News in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Curtis also has a huge musical background, having performed as a percussionist for the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra and as a pianist for Ohio University’s top jazz ensemble. His other hobbies include playing board games (chess is his favorite) and trivia. As a sports fan, he is a huge supporter of Manchester City F.C. and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Curtis welcomes any suggestions ranging from tips on local sports to cool places to spend time and eat in the Cedar Rapids area.
