I spent the last 1.5 years with Iowa News Now’s sister station, KHQA, in Quincy, IL. I grew up in the small-town of Geneseo, Ill, about 20 minutes east of the Quad Cities. I attended Western Illinois University and graduated in May 2021 with a degree in Broadcasting and Journalism and a minor in Weather and Climate. I worked a variety of different jobs in the broadcasting field in college including working for ESPN football broadcasting, anchoring, and doing weather for news. I was also a color-commentator for WIU women’s basketball team.
In my free time I enjoy spending time out on the water, boating and waterskiing. I also enjoy relaxing with friends and family, spending a night out on the town and playing the occasional round of disc-golf.
I’m excited to be in Eastern Iowa forecasting the weather and keeping people informed and prepared through all four seasons.
