Linn-Mar cruises in regional final to clinch state birth

MARION, Iowa – After losing in the regional final last season, Linn-Mar avenged last year's result and then some, defeating Dubuque Hempstead 5-0.

The Lions faced the Mustangs two weeks ago in a 6-0 victory, and the level of play continued Thursday as the team will represent region 7 at the class 3A state tournament.
