WATERLOO, Iowa — Waterloo Police have now identified the four victims in three separate shootings Saturday morning throughout the city.
The first happened just after midnight around 1300 block of East 4th Street. A 17-year-old was shot but did survive and was taken to Covenant Medical Center for further treatment. Cashee Williams, 21, suffered a minor injury but authorities did not specify how the victim was hurt.
Officers responded to another call of shots fired at 4:35 a.m. along the 1600 block of Sycamore Street. Davon Caldwell, 22, suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to Allen Hospital for treatment.
About an hour later, at 5:16 a.m. officers then responded to a shooting at 639 Gable Street in Waterloo. Gregory Walker, 33, was shot and treated at the scene and then rushed to the hospital. Walker later died at Allen Hospital.
An autopsy has been scheduled Monday by the Iowa State Medical Examiner's Office.
No suspects have been arrested and police have not said whether these shootings are connected in any way.
