Waterloo Police remind everybody to lock car doors

On Thursday The Waterloo Police Department and Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers are reminding Black Hawk County residents and everyone for that matter to lock your car doors at night.

They posted a video on their Facebook page showing what the majority of car burglars do- they quickly check to see if a car door is locked or not and if it is they move on.

If you choose to leave your car door unlocked police say you should remove anything of value or place it in the trunk.
