WATCH: Iowa Sheriff's Deputy nearly hit by distracted driver

MARSHALL COUNTY, Iowa — The Marshall County Sheriff's Office shared a shocking dash-cam video of a deputy nearly being hit by a distracted driver.

In a Facebook post, the office says the near head-on collision happened earlier this week, and that this is a good reminder that distracted driving or impaired driving poses a risk to everyone on the road.

No one was hurt, but there was minor damage due to a sideswipe. The driver was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road.
