Toys for Tots registration information
CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS2/FOX28) —
Registration begins Monday, October 17, for assistance with toys and holiday food through the Salvation Army in Linn County.
Applications will be available through Friday October 21 and also available from November 14 - 18.
Staff and volunteers will be accepting those applications from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 4 p.m.
Information on what you need to apply are below:
Applicants must bring the following to apply: Linn County picture identification card, proof of children and proof of income. Acceptable documents to verify proof of children living in the household include: child's school ID, child's social security card, child's birth certificate, child's medical card, DHS Notice of Decision letter. Acceptable documents to verify income include: pay stubs from the last 30 days, bank statement indicating social security payments or employers direct deposit, Social Security statement or letter from the Social Security Administration stating income, 2015 income taxes, SNAP/food stamp current letter of decision, LIHEAP approval letter and/or WIC packet.
