Tennessee attempted murder suspects arrested in Cedar Rapids

Two people who were wanted for a number of charges out of Memphis, Tenn. were arrested in Cedar Rapids.

Cedar Rapids Police spokesperson Greg Buelow says 22-year-old Jedarius Robinson and 26-year-old Ronisha Hackworth both had warrants out for criminal attempt felony to commit first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery and carjacking.

The Cedar Rapids Police Department was notified by the Memphis Police Department that a 2012 Chrysler 200 stolen during a shooting on June 16 was in Cedar Rapids. Officers pulled over the vehciele near the Highway 30.I-380 interchange on Monday around 12:30 and arrested both Robinson and Hackworth.

They are being held at the Linn County Jail pending extradition. Robinson also had an extraditable warrant out of Mississippi.
