Snow on the way for parts of eastern Iowa
A winter storm will bring snow to parts of eastern Iowa Friday night through Saturday. Snow will be most likely south of Highway 20, with the higher snowfall amounts along and south of I-80.
Snow will begin late tonight, mainly after 9 pm, and will continue through Saturday afternoon.
With dry air on the north side of this system, some areas north of Highway 20 may not see any snow at all. Down to the south there could be around five inches.
This would be the first time this area has had an inch of snow in a single day since November 17th.
