UPDATE: Minor injuries in separate accident after semi roll over at I-380/ 30 interchange
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Right at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon, Cedar Rapids police were called to a single vehicle roll over accident at the highway 30 interchange with interstate 380 Northbound.
When police arrived, the driver was still trapped in the cab of the semi.
With help from the Cedar Rapids Fire Department, the driver was able to get out of the semi uninjured.
A separate three vehicle accident happened at about 4:15 P.M. in the Southbound lanes of interstate 380 due to slow and merging traffic.
Two people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries in the second accident.
By 6 o'clock Sunday evening, all lanes of traffic on I-380 were open.
The cause of the semi roll over is still under investigation.

A semi rollover at interstate 380 near US 30 North is slowing traffic in the Northbound lane of I-380.
Crews are on the scene right now, no word yet of any injuries or what caused the semi to roll over.
