Police identify victims of deadly Cedar Rapids train crash

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (CBS2/FOX28) — Police have identified the two people killed in a crash involving a train on Sunday.

Police were notified by several callers around 4:30 p.m. Sunday that a train had hit an SUV on the train tracks at 3000 C St. SW.

The driver, 32-year-old Ethan Mortensen, and the passenger, 66-year-old David Mortensen, both of Ely, were pronounced dead at the scene.
