MGN Online.

The sight of the solar eclipse is something you don't want to pass up but NASA experts say you can't look directly at it.

You're going to need safe viewing eclipse glasses. Star-Net has provided a list o 7,000 public libraries across the United States that will be giving out these special glasses to view the eclipse safely.

Two of those locations are right here in the Corridor!

You can pick up glasses at the Marion Public Library starting August 14. Glasses will be available on a first come first serve basis.

The Iowa City Public Library has two events were you can pick up a pair. One is on August 14 starting at 7 p.m. and another on August 21, the day of the eclipse, starting at 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
