Pedestrian injured after being hit by a car in Marion

MARION, Iowa (Iowa's News Now) — A Marion woman is being treated at the hospital this morning after being hit by a car.

Upon arrival, first responders found that a Chevy Cobalt, driven by Daniel Quick, 38, of Marion, was westbound on Hennessey and had turned left to travel south on Highway 13.

Dianne Erb was walking in/near the intersection of Highway 13 at Hennessey Parkway around 5:45 this morning when she was hit by the car.

Erb was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital for what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries.
