One person dead, three injured after three shootings in Waterloo

One person is dead and three others injured after a violent Saturday morning involving three shootings in Waterloo.

The first incident happened around 12:13 a.m. in the area 1300-block of E. 4th Street. Officers say 2 people sustained non-life-threatening injuries and a vehicle was damaged after multiple shots were reported.

At 4:36 a.m., police were called to the 1600-block of Sycamore Street for a report of someone hearing gunshots. As police investigated the area, they were notified that a victim showed up to Allen Hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound as a result of the shooting.

The early morning turned deadly after a third shooting, this one at 639 Gable Street. When police arrived around 5:16 a.m., they found a man inside the home with a serious gunshot wound. He was taken to Allen Hospital where he died.

Waterloo PD tells CBS2/FOX28 News that no more information will be released until Monday.
