One person behind bars after police pursuit in Cedar Falls

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA (IOWA'S NEWS NOW) — A woman is behind bars after leading authorities on a police chase in Cedar Falls.

It started Thursday evening, just after 8:30 p.m., when Cedar Falls police attempted to make a traffic stop near the intersection of Sunny Lane and Terrace Drive.

That's when the driver fled, making it to Waterloo, before coming back to Cedar Falls.

The suspect, Chandra Horton, eventually stopped at the intersection of Ashworth Drive and Algonquin Drive.

She was placed under arrest for eluding (aggravated misdemeanor), an outstanding warrant, and numerous traffic violations.
