One hurt after high-speed chase in Johnson County
JOHNSON COUNTY, Iowa —
A high-speed chase in Johnson County ended Thursday morning with a man in custody and his vehicle submerged in water.
The Iowa State Patrol says James Miller, 28 of Cedar Rapids, took off when troopers tried to pull him over heading north on Interstate 380.
Miller took the Swisher exit and kept going east through Shueyville on 120th Street Northeast. Authorities say he lost control and rolled his vehicle into water near the road.
Miller was taken into custody and then taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for treatment.
No word yet on if he will face any charges.
