CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (CBS2/FOX28) — A former nurse at Linn-Mar High School charged with sexually exploiting a student is now facing a new assault charge after getting into a fight at a Starbucks drive-thru.
Cedar Rapids Police say 47-year-old Angela Beik is charged with assault after getting into an argument with 19-year-old woman.
Police say they were sent to the Starbucks on First Avenue just before 9 p.m. on Dec 3.
Witnesses saw Beik and the victim arguing in the drive-thru area when Beik punched the woman in the face through the driver's side window near the drive-up window. The victim told police that she and Beik had an ongoing feud with each other over social media.
Beik has been pending trial after being accused of sexually exploiting a 16-year-old student that went to Linn-Mar High School. Her trial is scheduled to begin in March.
