Donald Trump won nearly all 99 counties in 2024 Iowa Caucuses. The former president won every single county, except Johnson County.

According to data Associated Press, Nikki Haley won Johnson County by a single vote. Haley received 1,271 votes to Donald Trump's 1,270.

Trump won the state overall with 51% support. Ron DeSantis was second with 21.2% and Haley came in third at 19.1%.

Johnson County is one of the bluest counties in the state of Iowa. The latest data from the Johnson County Auditor's Office from the beginning of the month shows 39,216 registered Democrats in the county.

As of January 3, there were only 13,948 registered Republicans. Another 21,475 registered voters do not have a party and 401 are Libertarians with 123 registered Green Party or other party voters.

The auditor's office said it could take a few weeks before we know how many of voters registered Monday specifically to caucus. Registered voters and 17-year-old's who will be 18 by election day in November were able to participate.
