CLIVE, Iowa — 2024 presidential candidate Nikki Haley is in Clive, Iowa Friday morning, joining Iowa's US Senator Joni Ernst in a panel hosted by The Bastion Institute.
This is the former Governor of South Carolina's second time in Iowa since announcing her presidential run.
She had two other stops before the one in Clive.
Haley began in Council Bluffs on Wednesday before heading to Nevada, Iowa on Thursday.
They will be discussing foreign policy and "America’s strength and leadership abroad and its importance to Americans here at home," The Bastion Institute said.
The panel is being held at the Horizon's Event Center at 10AM.
With China, Russia, and Iran on the rise, the world desperately needs strong American leadership,” said Senator Ernst, the first female combat veteran elected to the U.S. Senate. “I look forward to leading a timely discussion with Ambassador Haley on important national security and foreign policy issues and their impact on hardworking Iowans.
This is the first panel for The Bastion Institute, this year, but they do plan on holding more in Iowa and around the country.
Former Vice President Mike Pence will be attending a panel on March 18th in Des Moines.
