Freezing drizzle continues Tuesday across eastern Iowa creating slick spots for commuters. Temperatures this afternoon will approach the freezing mark, but many areas may remain just below prolonging the event.
Winter Weather Advisories have been extended across much of the area through at least midnight, with Keokuk and Washington Counties going all the way through 6 a.m. Wednesday. To reiterate, freezing drizzle is forecast to continue as late as Wednesday morning.
This could cause more issues for the morning commute Wednesday morning. Furthermore, the active week of weather will continue with another quick shot of snow possible Thursday morning, with a stronger storm over the weekend.
