Erin Kay Pospisil went missing June 3, 2001.

She was just 15-years-old.

April 14, 2021 would have marked her 35th birthday, but instead of celebrating, her family is left wondering who she would have become.

"She's always in the back of our mind, thinking there's something we might have missed or something like that,” said Jim Pospisil, Erin’s father.

That day in June, Erin asked her parents if she could go stay the night at a friend’s.

Her neighbor, Curtis Padgett, gave her a ride.

He said when they got to the friend’s house, no one was home and that’s when Erin got into another car and told him they were giving her a ride.

To the Pospisil's knowledge, that's the last time anyone ever saw their sweet girl.

“Maybe people have seen her since the day that we did and if someone can just help to fill in those blanks that would be wonderful,” said Carolyn Pospisil, Erin’s stepmother.

Now, they're on a mission to finally get her case closed and find out what happened to Erin.

One way, a website, documenting everything since she went missing and a yearly benefit reminding everyone who Erin was and also bringing to light a National Database for Missing and Exploited Children exists for a reason.

"Without any answer, there's no chance to know what it is that you're supposed to do," said Carolyn.

The Pospisil's won't give up, until they finally get the answers their family and Erin deserves.
