Kernels hosting Fourth of July fireworks show
The Cedar Rapids Kernels will be putting on a fireworks show for 4th of July. The July 4th Home Plate Bash will consist of live music by Not Quite Brothers, ballpark food and fireworks. Gates open at 6:30 pm with live music from 7 to 9:30 pm. The fireworks show will follow around 9:30 pm.
All seating for the event will be reserved in order to maintain social distancing. No aisle seats will be available. Kids three and under are free if they sit on a parent's lap, if they need a seat they will have to have a ticket. Seating will be limited with capacity around 1,500 in the stadium.
Tickets are available for $10 or a table of four people for $50. Tickets are on pre-sale now until June 18 for season ticket holders and host families. Sale for the general public starts June 19th. You can buy tickets by calling (319) 363-3887.
