IOWA CITY, Iowa (Iowa's News Now) — Iowa State Patrol says a pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on I-80 near Iowa City on Monday afternoon.

The person was in the eastbound lane of I-80 under the Highway 1 overpass.

Right now it is not known which car hit the person.
