Iowa scientists release state's climate statement for 2018
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa —
On Thursday the state's leading climate scientists released Iowa's climate statement for 2018 at the Cedar Rapids Public Library. This year it's signed by a record number of Iowa scientists.
The statement describes the urgent need to design buildings able to withstand heat waves and more rain.
Since 2011 climate researchers have produced statements on Iowa's current situation and how Iowan's may be impacted.
