After numerous delays, a date has been set for a hearing to consider dismissing a charge brought against former reality star Chris Soules.

The three-hour hearing will be held Nov. 27 at 9 a.m. at the Buchanan County Court House.

The 36-year-old former "Bachelor" star is accused of leaving the scene of a fatal accident after driving his truck into a tractor on April 24. 66-year-old Kenneth Mosher died as a result after his tractor rolled into a ditch. Soules made the original 911 call, but left the scene as first responders arrived. He was found and arrested at his home five hours later.

In a motion filed on Monday, Soules' defense presented the argument that the amended charge of "failing to remain" at the scene should be thrown out because he made the 911 call and performed CPR before he left the scene .

Soules has pleaded not guilty.
