Free dental care Thursday for veterans in Iowa City area

On Thursday in Iowa City Aspen Dental is providing free dental care for veterans from the Iowa City area. The MouthMobile will stop at the Robert A. Lee Community Center in Iowa City from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The stop is part of its 30-stop cross-county tour.

You do have to make an appointment if you want to take part in the free services. To make an appointment call Matthew Miller at 319-384-3535.

Aspen Dental is working with The University of Iowa Center for Diversity and Enrichment to find veterans who might be interested and scheduled appointments. According to Aspen Dental, their Health Mouth Movement, which the MouthMobile is part of, has provided more than $10 million in free care to more than 17,000 veterans during the past four years.
