CR Jefferson High Plans Gun Violence Panel
CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS2/FOX28) -- Students and staff at Jefferson High School want to stop gun violence in the community.
The Jefferson High School Options Program is planning a panel discussion about the issue Tuesday with city leaders.
Mayor Ron Corbett and Police Chief Wayne Jerman will take part in the panel with nearly 180 freshmen students.
Last month a 14-year old teenager was charged with the murder of 15-year-old Aaron Richardson - a Washington High School student.
