Iowa City Police say they found a man dead outside of a recreation center on Tuesday.

ICPD were called to the Robert A. Lee Recreation Center at 2 p.m. where they found 24-year-old Paul Biagas dead laying in the snow. The windchill overnight in Iowa City was a low as 20-below. Police say Biagas was not dressed for the extreme cold, noting he was not wearing a heavy coat.

Investigators say they have no reason to believe foul play was involved. Police Lt. Zach Diersen says investigators think Biagas may have been walking home on New Year's Eve to his apartment near downtown Iowa City.

The case is being investigated by the Iowa City Police Department and the Johnson County Medical Examiner.
