Body found after garage fire put out in Grundy County

GRUNDY COUNTY, Iowa — Grundy County officials say a body was found after firemen put out a garage fire Sunday in Reinbeck.

Officials say fire crews were called to 505 Oak Street in Reinbeck just after 11 a.m. Sunday for a garage fire. When they put the fire out they found the body. The identity of the body is pending an autopsy. As is the cause of death.

The cause of the fire is also under investigation. Right now it's not clear how much damage the fire did to the garage.
