A bus driver and another driver were hurt after a crash involving three vehicles in rural Benton County Friday afternoon.

Benton County authorities say the crash happened after an early dismissal on 77th Street Drive, west of Norway. Authorities said the bus collided with a Benton County secondary roads vehicle that was turning onto 28th Ave. The bus then hit a parked van.

The bus was taking around 40 4th-6th grade students to the Blairstown area.

Benton Community Schools Superintendent Gary Zittergruen told CBS2/FOX28 News that no students were hurt. Authorities on the scene told our CBS2/FOX28 News crew that the male bus driver and the driver of a van were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Superintendent Gary Zittergruen said that a handful of students were released to their parents, while another bus picked up the remaining students and took them home.
