Arrest made in suspicious Marshalltown Death

MARSHALLTOWN, IA — Sunday, law enforcement arrested 20-year-old Amarrion Isom in relation to what police say was a suspicious death in Marshalltown.

Police were called to a home just after 4:00pm Friday at 618 West Boone Street. When they arrived, they found 27-year-old Isaiah Forest dead at the scene.

An autopsy showed that Forest died as a result of a gunshot wound.

Isom is being held at the Marshall County Jail and has been charged with Murder in the First Degree (a Class A felony)
