Ambulance driver cited for four-vehicle crash

    The Dubuque County Sheriff's Office says the driver of an ambulance was cited following a four-car crash.

    On Tuesday, November 7 at 9:46 p.m. officers responded to a crash at the intersection of Highway 61 and Twin Valley Drive.

    After an investigation police cited Toni Blint, 26, for failing to stop at an intersection.

    Blint was driving an ambulance owned by Paramount Ambulance Service and hit two vehicles at the intersection.

    Another vehicle then crashed into a parked car.

    All four drivers and four additional passengers were taken to Mercy Medical and Finley Hospital with minor injuries.

    Dubuque County Sheriff's Office estimates the damage at $80,000.
