The Linn County Attorney's office has confirmed Dimione Walker waived extradition in court on Tuesday.

Along with being wanted in Linn County for first-degree murder in the April 10th Taboo Nightclub shooting, Walker was also wanted for two cases, including one in Illinois for violating parole.

Walker was arrested by U.S. Marshals near Chicago on Monday.

In an interview with Iowa's News Now, Linn County Attorney Nick Maybanks said, "If he waives extradition then his custody would essentially be turned over to Illinois Department of Corrections and they would decide what to do with him at that point in time."

Walker faces first-degree murder, intimidation with a dangerous weapon, going armed with intent and felon in possession of a firearm for the April 10th shooting.
