DUNKERTON, IA (CBS2/FOX28) -- Monday marks 15 years since a powerful storm swept through northeast Iowa.
On May 11th, 2000, Dunkerton was hit by an F-3 tornado with winds of more than 200 MPH.
One person died in the twister and more than two dozen others were hurt.
Some homes destroyed by the storm were replaced, only to be hit again by the more powerful Parkersburg tornado in 2008.
