New "48 Hours" episode to feature disappearance of Jodi Huisentruit

The 1995 disappearance of Jodi Huisnentruit, a former news anchor, will be featured on an episode of "48" Hours on Saturday.

The show airs at 9 p.m. on Saturday right here on KGAN.
The 27-year-old morning anchor went missing on her way to work June 27, 1995 at KIMT, the CBS affiliate in Mason City. Evidence indicating an abduction was discovered at her apartment complex. She was declared legally dead in 2001 and has never been found. No one has been charged in the case.
CBS News Correspondent Jim Axelrod traveled to Iowa after learning of search warrant that was executed in relation to GPS information belonging to the man who was the last person to see Jodi alive.
Jodi got her start in broadcast news as the Iowa City bureau chief at KGAN.
