Inside the Storm: Heeding a warning
Chief Meteorologist Terry Swails continued to go Inside the Storm Wednesday in Moore, Oklahoma which many experts consider the tornado Mecca of the world.
Moore has seen more tornadoes than any other city in the United States.
Swails says there is a fine line between providing people the information they need to stay safe and and over-hyping a storm system to the point people stop paying attention.
On Wednesday Terry spoke with Rich Thompson, one of the lead forecasters of the Storm Prediction Center.
Thompson explained it's more important to him to understate the potential for severe weather rather than than overstate it; that way, when a storm hits, people take it seriously and take cover.
