Inside the Storm Blog: BEFORE THE STORM...A PUPPY UPDATE!

Headed to the Lone Star State! Super cells are expected to pop up later this afternoon in Texas. Our destination is Childress, Texas but that could change as our weather models get tweaked.

Today's information is showing strong thunderstorm activity and we hope to send back some great images of a super cell structure. Terry will be giving you the rundown on everything and explain what you are seeing.

In the meantime, I wanted to take this time before the action heats up to give you an update on the rescued puppies.

As you may recall, we stumbled upon the little guys huddled together in a ditch near Lawton, Oklahoma. We're are calling them our "Storm dogs." They are being cared for at the Lawton Animal Control Center.

Today I have some more information.

The folks at Animal Control believe the pups are labradors or a lab mix. All seven of them have taken to the bottle which I'm told is great news. So the babes are getting stronger every day.

Because the pups were brought in as strays, we have to wait 72 hours before I can share the latest photos of them. That's when they become wards of the city. So I will post photos on Saturday.

So stay tuned, we will keep you updated on their progress!

Carolyn
