Possibly A Record Year for Iowa Farmers

DES MOINES, IA (CBS2/FOX28) - There's lots of good news for Iowa farmers: the USDA says that about three quarters of Iowa corn and soybean crops are in good or excellent condition.
They also report that soil is in top shape across the state because of the pattern of rain this summer.
But that's not the only good news; new numbers from the department say that it's going to be a big money year for our farmers too.
Experts are predicting a record year come harvest time which means selling more corn and soybeans.
