ANAMOSA, IA (CBS2/FOX28) -- The Jones County Sheriff's Office has issued an Operation Quickfind to locate two missing girls.

Makalia Dircks, 17, and Aubrey Lavenz, 15, were last seen Friday around 10:00 PM in Anamosa.

Late Saturday night, Dircks' mother said via Facebook that she has information that the girls may be in, or headed to Kentucky.

Dircks is described as white, 5 feet, 7 inches and 165 pounds with dark brown hair and blue eyes.  She was last seen wearing jean shorts and a black, white and peach colored tank top.

Lavenz is also described as white, 5 feet 5 inches and 160 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.  She has a scar on her left cheek near her mouth.  She was last seen wearing black shorts or leggings and a black sweatshirt.

Both are believed to possibly be in a 2004 Chrysler Town and Country van with license plate "AUN 787".

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the two is urged to contact the Jones County Sheriff's Office at 319-462-4371.
