American Jihadist Killed in Syria

DAMASCUS, SYRIA (CBS2/FOX28) – U.S. officials have confirmed the death of a suspected American jihadist in Syria.
They believe 33-year-old Douglas McAuthur McCain was fighting with the Islamic terror group ISIS when he was killed over the weekend.
Using the twitter name Duale Khalid, McCain praised ISIS and defended jihad.
He said he converted to Islam 10 years ago.
A high school friend from Minneapolis says that was not the guy she knew.
ISIS is also believed to be holding an American female aid worker in Syria.
U.S. military surveillance flights are reportedly underway over Syria; a move authorized by President Obama that could potentially lead to airstrikes against ISIS.
