Homeless Man Faces Robbery, Assault Charges

IOWA CITY, IA (CBS2/FOX28) -- An Iowa City homeless man faces up to 30 ears in prison after an attempted robbery over the weekend.

According to criminal complaints, officers responded to a call for a fight in progress. When they arrived, victims say 36-year-old Douglas Frazier kicked in their door and attempted to rob them.

After being forced out, Frazier punched through a screen door, causing one victim to lose a tooth. He the reentered the apartment and got into an altercation over a knife, causing a vicitm to get a severe cut on his hand.

Fraizer is charged with first degree robbery, aggravated assault, and property damage.
