Iowa Farmer is the Next Bachelor

NEW YORK, NY (CBS2/FOX28) - We now know that an Iowa farm boy will be the next Bachelor.
Just before 7:30 Tuesday, Good Morning America announced that Arlington native Chris Soules landed the job.
Soules was one of three finalists on the last season of The Bachelorette and that's where fans from across the country fell in love with him; showing a lot of their support on social media.
Former Bachelorette contestant Arie Luyendyk was another frontrunner for the job but on Monday he tweeted a spoiler saying “I’m not the Bachelor, have fun on the farm people"
Earlier this month, rumors swirled that 32-year-old Soules had signed a contract and was seen with a film crew in Iowa.
Official filming is set to begin in September and you'll get to see 25 women compete for Soules' heart starting next year.
