Housing Shortage at Iowa State

AMES, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Some Iowa State University students won't be moving in to the dorms this weekend.
The school has told more than 200 applicants that they have a housing shortage and there's no space for them in on-campus housing.
More than 12,000 applied to live in the dorms this year.
More than 400 students will live in temporary make-shift dorms.
Because of the record number of applicants, ISU officials are planning to build another residence hall to prevent any future problems.
