Man Accused of Threatening School

CHARLES CITY, IA (CBS2/FOX28) -- Authorities have charged a man arrested over the weekend after police say he made threats against school children.
Loren Saxon was taken to the Floyd County Jail on Sunday.  Officers say they found him intoxicated at the Best Budget Inn in Charles City when he allegedly made threatening statements against school children.
Leaders at Charles City Schools say they were made aware of the threats made and were in constant contact with local authorities about the situation.
Investigators say there is no indication that Saxon was working with anyone else who could possibly carry out any kind of threat.
Saxon is now in the Floyd Co. Jail on Terroristic Threats and Public Intoxication.
