Coralville Reservoir Outflow to Drop

JOHNSON COUNTY, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) The Army Corps of Engineers is dropping the outflow at the Coralville Reservoir.

On Wednesday, the Corps will drop the outflow to 15,000 cubic feet per second where it will remain through Friday. On Saturday, the Corps will once again decrease the outflow to 12,000 CFS.

Once the outflow is dropped on Saturday and water has receded on Dubuque Street in Iowa City, city staff will be able to access pavement to assess damage and begin work to reopen the street to traffic.
