UPDATE: Iowa Man Dies During RAGBRAI

GRAETTINGER, IA (CBS2/FOX28) - RAGBRAI took a sad turn this week, after a West Branch man died while on the ride.
63-year-old Tom Teesdale was riding near Graettinger, and reportedly had a heart attack.  He was taken to the hospital, where he died.
Teesdale was known in the international biking community for his custom-frame designs, especially for mountain bikes.
For 38 years, he owned and operated T.E.T Cycles in West Branch.
He even built custom bikes for children with special needs at Camp Courageous.
This is the first death of a RAGBRAI rider since 2010.
In the 42 years of the event, 29 people have died during the ride.
