Mandatory Evacuations Lifted in Johnson Co.

JOHNSON COUNTY, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) Johnson County officials are now lifting all mandatory evacuations issued during the countys recent flooding.

In a Friday press-release from the Johnson County Board of Supervisors, residents are still advised to use caution when reentering flooded properties as some utilities may not be fully restored.

The board also advised residents with any questions about building inspections or available assistance from the county to please contact the Planning and Zoning Administrator.

They also caution residents that some flooded roads may still be closed.
