BREAKING: Two Arrested For CR Bank Robberies
CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS2/FOX28) -- Cedar Rapids police and the FBI on Monday arrested two people in connection with a string of recent bank robberies. Investigators executed search warrants on three Cedar Rapids residences and a number of vehicles.
As a result of those investigations, police arrested 25-year-old Damion Michael Broderick, of Cedar Rapids, and 22-year-old Timothy Lee Broderick, also of Cedar Rapids.
Damion faces six counts of second-degree robbery for robberies at US Bank on Edgewood Road SW on April 28, and at Guaranty Bank on Jacolyn Drive NW on June 25 and July 7.
Timothy faces four counts of second-degree robbery for the US Bank robbery and the July 7th Guaranty Bank robbery.
