IC City Park Cleaned Up After Flooding

IOWA CITY, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) --Volunteers are helping a park clean up after this year's flooding.
This years damage at Iowa City's "City Park" is estimated to cost between $50,000 - $100,000.
Officials say the damage was worse this year because of the heavy outflow of water.
They say they will pay for the clean up with funds from the City, FEMA, and Homeland Security.
But they do say after multiple years of flooding, they are learning how to better protect the park.
The city asks that residents steer clear of City Park until August 1st for safety purposes as they wait for the water to further recede.
